This study specifically focuses on the age factor in second language learning and aims to prove the assumption that a child's critical age correlates with their language acquisition ability. This is a quantitative study with a descriptive approach, using data processing software, SPSS, and subsequently described verbally. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 21 students from Ulya classes 1 and 2 at TPQ Darut Tarbiyah As-Sa'adah, comprising 17 female students and four male students. The results of the product-moment calculation showed that the calculated r-value was lower than the table r-value, specifically 0.433 < 0.829. This indicates no influence between the variables of age and language acquisition. Therefore, age does not affect a child's ability to acquire a second language among students in Ulya classes 1 and 2 at TPQ Darut Tarbiyah As-Sa’adah for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Muzamil R Pawi, Wahdah Wulidatus Sofrotun Nadzifah, Shofil Fikri, Fiqi Rihadatul Aisy Copyright (c) 2025 Muzamil R Pawi, Wahdah Wulidatus Sofrotun Nadzifah, Shofil Fikri, Fiqi Rihadatul Aisy https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/476 Sun, 12 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Strengthening Religious Moderation in Islamic Education Learning in the Digital Era https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/477
This research aims to analyze teachers' strategies in strengthening the values of religious moderation in PAI learning through the use of digital media, as well as to identify the challenges and their impacts on students' religious attitudes. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observing teaching and learning activities, conducting in-depth interviews with fifth and sixth-grade teachers and students, and documenting teaching materials and digital learning media. Data analysis is conducted descriptively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that PAI teachers at MI Fattahul Huda have implemented various digital strategies to strengthen religious moderation, including thematic YouTube videos, interactive quizzes using Quizizz and Kahoot!, student digital projects on tolerance themes, the development of digital teaching materials, and practices of digital religious literacy. Teachers also use moments of religious and national holidays as a means to strengthen peaceful and inclusive Islamic values. These strategies have proven to enhance students' active participation, reinforce the understanding of tolerance values, and cultivate a critical attitude towards religious content on social media. Thus, digital media can serve as an effective tool for instilling values of religious moderation in a contextual and in-depth manner from an early age.
Sahri, Suudin Aziz Copyright (c) 2025 Sahri, Suudin Aziz https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/477 Sun, 12 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Integration of Religious Moderation Values in Gurindam Dua Belas by Raja Ali Haji https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/492
This article aims to identify the values of religious moderation in Gurindam Dua Belas by Raja Ali Haji and examine its contribution to the field of Islamic education. The study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing content analysis of the verses in the Gurindam, which is interpreted based on the principles of religious moderation outlined by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. The findings reveal that Gurindam Dua Belas conveys strong moral messages that remain highly relevant in contemporary life, particularly the values of tawassuth (balance), tasâmuh (tolerance), i'tidal (justice), and shura (deliberation). These values align with the objectives of character education and the development of Aqidah Akhlak learning in schools. Furthermore, the work makes practical contributions by offering opportunities to integrate Islamic values into Indonesian language learning, incorporating Islamic nuances, and exploring Islamic Religious Education subjects. Thus, Gurindam Dua Belas functions not only as a Malay literary heritage but also as an educational medium to instill moderate, inclusive, and virtuous attitudes among students. This article emphasizes the significance of revitalizing local literary works as contextual learning resources to foster Islamic character, aligning with the vision of Islamic education in Indonesia.
Robi'ah Copyright (c) 2025 Robi'ah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/492 Sun, 12 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Development of Indonesian Language Curriculum Based on Islamic Values in Responding to the Challenges of Digital Literacy https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/508
This research aims to develop an Islamic values-based Indonesian curriculum in response to the challenges of digital literacy at Al Fattah Pungpungan Islamic High School. However, several challenges hinder this integration, including inadequate infrastructure, limited teacher training, and resistance to new teaching methods. This study explores these challenges and identifies opportunities for integrating technology into the curriculum of Islamic Elementary Schools (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) and Kindergartens (TK) in Indonesia. A systematic review following the PRISMA framework was conducted, analyzing nine articles out of 25,570. The study identified key barriers, such as limited access to digital devices and the internet, inadequate digital competency among teachers, and resistance to changes in traditional pedagogical methods. Despite these challenges, the study highlights opportunities to enhance student engagement and foster critical thinking through the use of interactive technologies, such as multimedia and AI. These technologies can bridge the gap between traditional Islamic values and modern educational practices. This study demonstrates the importance of continuous professional development for teachers, investment in digital infrastructure, and curriculum reform that integrates Islamic teachings with modern technology. A balanced approach is crucial to ensure the integrity of Islamic education while simultaneously harnessing the benefits of technological advancements. Future research should focus on developing strategies to address these challenges and maximize the potential of technology in Islamic teaching, ultimately improving student outcomes and engagement.
Dudun Ubaedullah, Rokimin, Fajar Suryono Copyright (c) 2025 Dudun Ubaedullah, Rokimin, Fajar Suryono https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/609 Sun, 12 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Synthesizing Tradition and Technology in Pesantren Curriculum: A Case Study at Pesantren Al-Falah Situbondo https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/630
Pesantren face increasing demands to preserve Islamic traditions while equipping santri with digital literacy and global competencies. This study examines how Pesantren Al-Falah Situbondo adapts its curriculum by integrating classical learning with technological and entrepreneurial innovation. Using a qualitative case study supported by descriptive survey data, the research identifies three dynamics: the persistence of memorization-based pedagogy, fragmented adoption of digital tools, and sporadic entrepreneurship initiatives. These findings reveal that curriculum reform in pesantren is not a replacement of tradition but a negotiated synthesis that connects heritage with contemporary skills. Theoretically, the study offers a framework for integrating Islamic values with global competency models, thereby bridging domains that are often treated as separate. Practically, it provides pesantren leaders and policymakers a blueprint for embedding digital literacy and entrepreneurship into lesson plans without undermining religious identity. This model can guide other pesantren in designing adaptive curricula and inform Islamic education policy aimed at preparing graduates who are both rooted in tradition and ready for global engagement.
Ahmad Musaddad Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Musaddad https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/jab/article/view/630 Sun, 12 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700
