First, education is inherently normative; it requires prescriptive guiding principles, not merely descriptive. A philosophical understanding provides a framework to determine what should be done in education rather than observing it passively. Without such a foundation, education risks being misunderstood or reduced to mere technical practices, ignoring its deeper humanistic and moral dimensions. Second, while valuable, a purely scientific approach to education is insufficient. Education must be viewed holistically, and philosophy offers that comprehensive lens. Different philosophical schools, including Idealism, Realism, and pragmatism, present varied educational aims and methods interpretations. Among these, Idealism, which this paper focuses on, emphasizes the development of the mind and personality as the core purpose of education. In the Indonesian context, Pancasila serves as the foundational philosophy, shaping the nation's educational values. While exploring global philosophical perspectives is important, educational systems must align with Pancasila to remain culturally and ideologically grounded. Philosophical literacy allows educators to engage with ideas critically, filter those incompatible with national values, and incorporate those that enrich understanding without conflict. By revisiting and strengthening the philosophical foundations of education, especially through the lens of Idealism, educators can better understand their practice's purpose, direction, and ethical dimensions. This, in turn, supports the creation of meaningful, value-based educational experiences beyond procedural knowledge.
Eko Prayetno Abul Ma'ali Raed Awadh Saeed Al-Ghatnaini Tasnim Saelaemae Copyright (c) 2025 Eko Prayetno, Abul Ma'ali, Raed Awadh Saeed Al-Ghatnaini, Tasnim Saelaemae https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-12 2025-08-12 2 3 297 311 10.58988/intiha.v2i3.339 IDEALISTIC AND IDEOLOGY ISLAMIC CONCEPTS IN WAHHABI SAUDI ARABIA https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/intiha/article/view/347
This research focused on religious purification, an understanding rejecting the taqlid offered by fiqh and theology in traditional Islamic knowledge, and aims to restore all existing problems to the true sources of Islam, Al-Qur'an, and Sunnah. This is one reason that triggered the birth of the Wahhabi movement, which is still developing in Saudi Arabia, where the Wahhabi movement has the largest ideology. This research used qualitative descriptive research with the literature review method. The researcher described Islamic idealism and ideology in the Wahhabi concept, especially as it developed in Saudi Arabia. The data source was books or journals related to Wahhabi ideology in Saudi Arabia. The results of data searches using this method show that researchers collected data that will be used in reviewing and completing every part of the data in the study that is analyzed. Then, I marked important data, noted them down, and selected them according to needs and those related to this research. After data is collected, the approach used in analyzing various problems is historical, namely by classifying and studying data in Wahhabi ideology.
Sofia Mubarokah Sa’bana Rusdiana Navlia Siti Rahmawati Copyright (c) 2025 Sofia Mubarokah Sa’bana, Rusdiana Navlia, Siti Rahmawati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-12 2025-08-12 2 3 312 322 10.58988/intiha.v2i3.347 PROJECT-BASED LEARNING AND UNITY OF SCIENCE: ENHANCING THE CRITICAL THINKING OF STATE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY STUDENTS https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/intiha/article/view/348
This research aims to explore the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) as a teaching method to foster students' critical thinking abilities at State Islamic University. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative method to gain an in-depth understanding of the model's application. Data collection methods include documentation and interviews. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings revealed that the Hannafin and Peck model effectively enhanced the learning process in Islamic education by providing a structured framework for needs analysis, design, development, and implementation. The model's continuous evaluation allows for ongoing improvements, making the educational experience more interactive and engaging for students. This study concludes that the Hannafin and Peck Instructional Design Model greatly benefits Islamic Religious Education at Raudhatul Athfal. The model ensures that educational programs have met students' needs and promote a deep understanding of Islamic teachings. However, challenges such as resource limitations and resistance to change must be addressed. Future research should focus on integrating technology and creating adaptive evaluation methods to enhance the model's effectiveness in various educational contexts.
Rina Nur Azizah Mulyawan Safwandy Nugraha Ujang Dedih Aan Diana Copyright (c) 2025 Rina Nur Azizah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-12 2025-08-12 2 3 338 357 10.58988/intiha.v2i3.351 IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MARKETING MIX FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL MUHAMMADIYAH 1 YOGYAKARTA https://jurnal.staidaf.ac.id/intiha/article/view/356
This research aims to explore the implementation of marketing strategies for educational services at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta to attract the interest of prospective new students and maintain the loyalty of existing students by optimizing the marketing mix 7P strategy. This research employed descriptive analytical qualitative research with observation, interviews, and documentation data collection techniques. It revealed that the comprehensive, innovative, and effective marketing mix (7P) was implemented at Muhammadiyah Senior High School 1 Yogyakarta. The school offered superior products, varied prices with scholarship schemes, strategic location, active multi-channel promotion, quality human resources through selective recruitment and competency development, complete facilities, and SNP standard learning process management. This strategy increased public interest by 25-30% (2019-2023) and maintained student loyalty. This research is limited due to exploring marketing strategies for educational services in one private high school in Yogyakarta. Generalizations of findings should be achieved by considering the unique characteristics of each educational institution. Comparative studies with similar educational institutions can be conducted for further research to identify and explore the impact of effective educational service marketing strategies.
Wildani Ridlo Yusra Arsila Muhammad Haeqal Zainal Arifin Copyright (c) 2025 Wildani Ridlo, Yusra Arsila; Muhammad Haeqal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-12 2025-08-12 2 3 358 374 10.58988/intiha.v2i3.356
